FIESTA
A street-theatre-workshop with TEATRO DUE MONDI
Children or teenager, amateur or professional actors can be involved in this show. The seven actors and the director of TEATRO DUE MONDI will teach them elements of the street-show Fiesta like choral movements, rhythms, songs, mask and puppet building.
The participants will perform in the show, making it become a big procession that will transform the town into a theatre scenery.
We teach different elements of the show in two different ways, depending on the age of the participants: as a “game” for children (7-12 years) or as a “theatre lesson” for teenagers, amateur or professional actors.

- construction of masks – learning how to use the mask
- construction of giant puppets - learning how to move the puppets
- physical expression – studying the character
- using the voice in the street – learning songs which are part of the show
- how to fascinate street spectators – studying expression of body and eyes
