A guided visit is the best way for a tourist to get some useful informations about the place he is visiting. Informations which he might also find described in a book, and then something more, which a book can never give, such as the human relation, the curiosities and the jokes, or the anecdotes and the smile.
For the guide it is sometimes even more: the possibility to reveal what has not already been written.
Sometimes during A guided visit we open up environments that usually are not accessible, from behind which doors the echo of a piece of history can arrive.
In this way a theatre, a museum, a palace, a square or small alleys can appear in a new way and for a new public. The dramaturical structure is a succession of scenes from different performances presented in the space that is being visited.
The space obviously has the decisive part in the construction of the performance. And not just in a scenographic sense, as it is for all itinerary performances, but for how each room/place is related to the entire space, which is the storical and mythical role, how far is there between two points of particular interest (if it is too long then maybe it is better to stop to sing a song or let the clowns joke), is there a beautiful decoration to be admired, or some special objects ( we remember our Ubu in The Carriage Museum of Rio). The Guided Visit is a multicoloured mosaic where each single piece is chosen accurately for every new occasion, it is chosen from the different works in the repertoire of Teatro Due Mondi and always with an intention to link as close as possible the story of the theatrical element with the surrounding space. These "moments" are then brought into an overall relation by an actor, who - maybe in the role of a guard - accompanies the spectators during the transfers and pauses and tells the story of that night (real "turistical" facts or legends and myths...).
N.B.: A Guided Visit at... is a special project that can be realised in whatever space, outdoors or indoors (village, palace, villa, theatre, museum, castle, garden, etc...).
