"Last night, Clotilde, something very strange has happened. There was a smell of roses and I am sure it came from the sea".

Sitting by a table-sea, illuminated by some few candles, Tobias and Clotilde once again tell each other about that extraordinary event to which they did assist. The sea was fragrant with the scent of roses. Believing in dreams maybe means to make them come true.

And everybody in that dry and deserted village by the shore of the cruel sea, everybody, longed for the scent of the roses.

A fantastic world is being animated and shown thanks to the shadows which the two protagonists project on to an infinite series of screens, thanks to games with lights and other very simple effects. The tale goes on, new characters give life to a journey accompanied by the poetry of the flame and its reflections.

The spectator is the guest of this magic room, accomplice of and participant in incredible events. But one must know how to listen to the scent of the sea.

"At the bottom of the sea - said Tobias - there is a village with small white houses with millions of flowers on the terraces". Clotilde shook her head "Oh, Tobias - she exclaimed - for God's sake, don't begin with all that again".

So said Clotilde, but we "...tell us, Tobias, tell...".
