We propose a voyage of discovery which parts from one poem to another, from the short rigmarole to the play with words in rhyme, from the tune to the ironical story and to the poem written in a simple form but with complex meanings, all enriched with theatrical tricks, music and various scenic solutions with great effect.
We dispose of the mistake to consider the simple and unadorned poetry as inferior, enclosed by the repetitiveness and the schematism of the easy understanding; we follow instead the rhyme and the rhythm, we experience the surprises offered by the unexpected word and communicate with the extraordinary creativity and the fantastic (and linguistic) receptiveness of the child, of the human being. We want to describe what poetry often is: a joyful art.
We have deliberately created an amusing performance, which however is carried out with rigorousness.
